Afoyo African Safaris is a locally owned Ugandan tour company based in Kampala, Uganda. We create affordable, tailor-made safari experiences across Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, Tanzania, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Zambia.
We are fully registered and licensed by the Uganda Tourism Board and are active members of the Association of Uganda Tour Operators and the African Travel and Tourism Association. Our work is built on local knowledge, professional service, responsible travel, and a deep love for wildlife, landscapes, and people.
Afoyo African Safaris was founded by a former safari guide with years of experience working in and around Murchison Falls National Park, one of Uganda’s most treasured conservation areas.
During his time in the park, he saw both the beauty of Uganda’s wildlife and the challenges faced by communities living near protected areas. He also witnessed how poaching, poverty, and limited opportunities can affect both people and wildlife.
That experience shaped the purpose behind Afoyo African Safaris. We do not only want travelers to see Africa. We want them to understand it, respect it, and leave a positive impact behind.
Today, every safari we create is guided by that belief. We connect travelers to unforgettable destinations while also supporting local communities and conservation efforts through initiatives such as the Mubaku Community Project, which focuses on education, cultural tourism, and wildlife protection.
